FABC is pleased to offer summer camps for teams and players this year that will be promoted to college coaches for the first time. There will be two camps for Boys teams and one Girls Camp.  Camps are open to high school teams that coaches are members of FABC and individual high school players in compliance with model developed by The National High School Basketball Coaches Association (NHSBCA). The hybrid models allows for high schools teams to play each other, while individuals are grouped into teams, practice and then play games against other independent teams. A JV division will also be available.

Boys’ camps will be in the Ft. Lauderdale area June 21-23 and in Bradenton area June 28 – 30. Girls’ camp will be in Gainesville area June 28 – 30.  Cost to high school teams will be $280 for four games with an option to pick up an additional game for $70 if space is available on either Friday or Sunday. Cost to individuals will be $70 for two practices with FABC member coach and four games against other independent teams.

FABC continues to work with the NCAA to have our camps certified and still hopes that a breakthrough is possible. In the meantime, we are promoting the camps to all college coaches that are allowed to be in attendance (Division II & III, NAIA and JUCO). The FABC started contacting the college coaches this week and the response from coaches has been positive.  We anticipate a large turnout of coaches.

I am writing you today to request your support of our June Camps and in that way supporting FABC. We are trying to build our organization and be able to provide better services to Florida coaches and high school programs while becoming a bigger voice for Florida Basketball.

FABC  website is up  (www.fabccamps.com) and we have 70+ teams committed.  We appreciate your support.  If you have any questions please feel free to either respond by email to [email protected] call me at 352-219-3749
