St. Augustine Girls win JarvisWilliams Tourney

The St. Augustine High School girls basketball team defeated Monsignor Edward Pace HS  in the finals of the Jarvis Williams Holiday Tournament  70-44 to win the tournament.  After going 3-0 during the 3 days of competition, the Jackets defeated University Christian (49-38) and Pedro Menendez HS (61-50) to advance to the finals. Jackets players Brooke Reed, Brianna Green and Kyra Stauble earned “All-Tournament” honors for the Jackets (below). Green scored a game high 21 points, and Reed added 17 points as the top scorers of the championship game. The Jackets improved their overall record on the season to 12-4 after the victory.
