Montverde Academy power forward Noah Dickerson announced on his Twitter account Sunday has committed to play for the Gators in 2015-16.

Dickerson (@NDickerson41) tweeted: “Excited to say I have committed to the University of Florida #GatorNation”

The 6-foot-8, 245-pound Dickerson is a four-star recruit ranked No. 37 by 247Sports and No. 52 in the 247Sports composite rankings. He is the nation’s 10th-rated power forward on both lists.

Dickerson, 17, committed to Georgetown on May 10, but re-opened his commitment a month later after being named an all-star at the NBPA Top 100 Camp and earning an invite to the Nike Big Man Skills Academy.

A native of Atlanta, Dickerson averaged 14.2 points and 8.4 rebounds playing AAU ball for the Georgia Stars.

Dickerson is UF’s third commit in the 2015 class, joining four-star guard KeVaughn Allen and four-star center Kevarrius Hayes. The Gators also will add 6-foot-10 USF transfer John Egbunu in 2015-16
